Love your layout Chris. Have you used a downloadable kit?

Wow, it's lovely. Well done. Is Photoshop worth having? I have a scrapbook disk but have not used it much.

Morning Grey skies this morning hope it will keep dry for my game of golf, so just a quicky.

I use and subcribe to a online Didgital Scrapbooking Shop called scrapgirls.com. Very Cheap.

It's all didgial Kits etc. there newsletter has fab info about page planing and also tuts and a freebie every day, it could be a paper or an embelishment. It helps me alot for inspiration as I do over embelish my pages and they became to messey.
You can subcribe to there newsletter but you dont have to buy, just take alook. I use there page ideas in the very beginging of my SB days. Let me know what you think of the site.

Pop back soon and if anyone wants help with some page planing in there PhotoShop I'll will help you all I can.

Chris, what a lovely page. I tried Digital Scrapbooking once but didn't get on with it because I think I like to use real papers if you know what I mean!!!!!

I bought Serif Scrapbooker when it was pick of the week on C&C but have not got round to using it! I will pop over and look at the site you have suggested Chris.

Hey Liz same here, I have the scrapbook software, spent more time pressing buttons on the laptop than creating anything.

If you are doing scrapbooking, do you need a printer that will print 12 x 12? this applies to using scrapbooking software, A4 doesn't exactly work out right, does it? I am thinking out loud here - go along with me for this one - where is my lightbulb moment????????

I have an A3 printer but dont use it that often as it sits downstairs and my laptop and A4 printer are upstairs and apart from that I dont want something overpowering my Cricut!!!

Hmmm, I must give this some thought tonight. I will have a look at that site as well Chris, many thanks for that.

Hi Carol, yes you really need an A3 printer to print 12x12 that is partly why I haven't gone down the Digital route.

Hi Carol
I dont have an A3 printer so I didgitaly scrap at 8x8 which fits on a A4 card stock. I also paper scrap at 8x8 as there quicker to do I know I'm lazy.
I have only done 2 12x12 Album's the rest are 8x8.

Scarp Girls is a wonderful site loads of Inspiration.

Chris, I would love to see some pictures - if/when you have got time. I have had a look and registered on the Scrap Girls site, it's rather good. I have just looked again at Daisytrail.com, I had forgotten how good the site looked, they have also given loads of updates and free packages for your owned software, when I get home I am going to update and see where that leads me to.

Have fun

Have a look at this link,

http://store.scrapgirls.com/product/21861/Easy-Page-Album%3A-12-x-12-Love-Honor-and-Cherish

now this has given me some inspiration to do something with my wedding photos, stored in a box for nearly 25 years - what a waste.

I have a friend who only does Digital Scrapbooking using the Serf software but uses her photo's instead of importing them.

I love to scrapbook both ways but when I was just starting out I found the Didgital route more helpful to me.
I find if I want to scrap a certain photo I scrap with Photo Shop first just to see how it will look and then If it turns out nicely then I will redo this with paper.
Here is 1 I did for a friends daughters 18. This 1 is just didgital but it captures her to a T.

Carol I just love the easy pages they are great help, you just import your photo into your software and place it behind the page and Presto you have it.

These usually come in 12x12 format but when you import them into you SW you just have to resize them to 8x8 ect.

Pam I'm much more confident now when I'm scrapbooking with paper, I do find that trying to fill a 12x12 pages is so scary for me hope you can encourage me to try a few 12x12 as I have a few albums I haven't used yet.

Chris, you have done a great job, I love it.

A long time ago Kanban had some 12 x 12 papers at their factory shop, I scooped them all up thinking I would use them some day - like you do and never do. Well I might well use them from now on, I might even have to put the A3 printer next to my Cricut, blimey the printer is bigger than the Cricut!

I think with my wedding photos I will scan them and then import them into the software, I think I can get them out of the album - I will have to see.

Thank's for the tips ladies.

Hi Chris,

Did you get any more pages done?

It's so quiet on the MB board at the moment, is everybody so so so busy?

I am back at work for a few hours a week and I am loving it.

Just to let you know, I called into Boundary Mills in Colne yesterday and got two packs of 12 x 12 papers, baby boy and baby girl, not sure whey, maybe I will get to use them on pictures I took of the boys when they were little.

Hope everybody is ok.

Carol.
