Re: Hello
Your welcome Liz, it must have taken a lot of work and especially as you have managed to get Guest Designers for us for the whole year. I wouldn't have know where to start lol.
Keep up the great work. Hope Amber is feeling a bit better now.

Re: Hello
Hi Max, there are still things I want to organise for us but time has been limited as Amber was doing her mocks which required back and forth at different times to Dom - so I felt like a yoyo for past couple of weeks.
Her splint split and could have been constituted as a danger or something as there was a piece of metal sticking straight out as well as not holding her hand in place, so had to take her up to A&E to get a new one! No more accidents - thank God! SHe has had some results back and in her worst subjects she got a C in Maths, C in Physics and Biology and D in Chemistry one more mark and it would have been a C too! So looking good for the real exams.

Hello
Hello, just wanted to say hi! My name is Annette and I live in North Carolina, USA. I've been doing crafty things for over 30 years and discovered Scrapbooking about 13 years ago. I'm actually more of a cardmaker than a Scrapbooker but enjoy just about anything that lets me be creative. I was asked to be a Guest Designer (thanks Liz!) and I'm really looking forward to my slot end of November, can't wait to make something holiday related! I live with my boyfriend of 10 years in a new house we just finished over a three year period. We still have alot to do, including painting the downstairs, putting in a kitchen floor, landscaping, etc, all the fun things that comes along with new construction. I'm still trying to get used to living out in the middle of nowhere as we are surrounded by woods and water and have had several wild critters on the property including rattlesnakes that I will never get used to! It is a normal occurance for me to see several Black and King snakes (neither are poisoness) over the summer months. I have learned to look ahead before I walk anywhere but have had a few surprises, including a black snake last summer hiding at the foot of one of our raised garden beds that I did not see and I startled it (I think I stepped on it) and it lunged at me! It actually tried to bite my knee but thank goodness I had pants on that day. I don't know who was more scared, the snake or me as it took off in the blink of eye and I took off the other way!
We don't have any children but have 7 cats and 6 dogs (all rescues) who are all spoiled rotten and we just love them.
My boyfriend finished off some of the attic space on the 3rd floor and made a craft room where you will find me most of the time, it's my little bit heaven.
I have a blog at www.annette-paperbistro.blogspot.com if you would like to check it out, I have been very bad at blogging but hope to get into a weekly routine soon! I'm so glad to have found such great group of ladies and look forward to getting to know all of you.

Re: Hello
Hi Annette, it is great to hear from you and look forward to seeing you pop in and out. I am not so sure you are lucky living where you do if there are snakes! The scenery sounds great but the only decent place for snakes is their skins on shoes, belts or bags even jackets but live and wriggling no thanks!
Re: Hello
Hello Annette, wow it sounds wonderful where you live. Welcome to our growing family. What cricut do you have and very importantly - have you lots of cartridges?
Hello everybody, at last it's getting a little bit lighter - in other words - no fog or mist!

Hello
Opps - I forgot to say what machine I have! I have an Expression and about 9 cartridges. I also have a Sizzix Big Kick which I use quite often as I cut alot of chipboard with it. I have used chipboard in the Expression before using the deep cut blade for a Christmas project for Custom Crops, I made some glittered snowman and ice skate ornaments. Here are the links if you want to check them out.

Hello from Cher
Hello to all.
My name is Cheryl from www.cherylswindow.blogspot.com. My friends call me Cher. I live in Florida with my DH and teenage daughter. My little girl will be 18 in just a few months, so I'm learning how to let go just a bit and NOT liking it.
I love all things crafty and get sidetracked quite easily. I love my Cricut and my Gypsy. I am so lucky to have a LSS just around the corner from me. I teach Cricut and Gypsy classes at my LSS.
I also work full-time as a medical transcriptionist. I am fortunate in that I work from home, but between work, family, house work, design work, and now working at LSS, my computer time and forum/message board posts are the first to fall way behind. (So, I read a lot, but don't post as much as I should - just being honest) I am working on this though and trying to set new habits and routines to stay better updated on the forums I belong to. I'll take any advice for this.
I do hope that I can get to know you all a little better and make new friends. I recognize a few faces here already and am so honored to have been asked to be a guest designer as well with this creative team here. Thank you.

Re: Hello
Hello Cher, welcome to our extending family. So good to see some more ladies joining us.
Liz, our name is obviously getting around. I so love this message board.
Hi Pam, are you back in the UK time? you obviously have tested the weather again, it is so cold. Good to have you back though.
Kerry, glad you got back all in one piece.
I am going to try and do a bit more crafting from now on, it has been neglected to say the least.
