Re: Daily Chit Chat
Oh Sandra I am so sorry to hear of your troubles and hope DH picks up soon, it is all very worrying when the more you try to make things better and the worse things seem to get, there will be a breaking point on the horizon and things will start to improve. Higs to you both and chins up, keep positive things will improve.
Re: Daily Chit Chat

Carol, sorry to hear about your heating and hope it is not as cold your side of the hill as it is here!!!!!!! We are told spring has sprung but I think it has forgotten that it is still cold and my Son in the USA has snow today.
I was wondering if anyone has tried the Air Brush System for the Copics and if so what do you think about it please.

Re: Daily Chit Chat
I've got hot water again!!!!! The gas man came within an hour and in a couple of minutes he started the pilot light and it stayed on, why would it not stay on for me?????? He must have thought I was plonkers, at least he had a cup of coffee and then went on his way, funny thing is he remembered coming to our house in the winter (lol), he remembered seeing me in my dressing gown!!!! he jogged my memory and reminded me that they were digging my neighbours drive up at 2am in the morning, no wonder I could not remember him, I don't recognise faces in the daytime, never mind early hours in the morning,.......
Lou, hope little Mo is ok now or on the mend anyway. Hows the atg? I have decided I don't like the small tapes, I have put one into the atg but am going to take it out and put my old tape back in. I suppose you get to like whats what.
Anyway, must get some more washing done.
Can I ask? Ian has found some holes in the garden, not mole hills but slightly bigger than a 50p piece, no soil around just a flat hole, nothing around the hole, no droppings or anything like that, Charlie is going ape when he runs down to the field, he keeps trying to dig up the - not there - whatever!!!! Anybody any ideas, I just dont want to go to the field and find wasps/bees swarming, moles leaping for joy and rabbits partying. Oh it's that subject of the garden again, last year it was that awful rash, hope that never never never ever comes back....
Speak soon
Carol X
Re: Daily Chit Chat
Carol, could be a mole exit point or even a vole. I get them in our lawn and I assume it is where the mole comes out and has pushed all the soil behind him!
Sorry I have been MIA quite a lot but Anne-Marie is having problems and was in hospital last weekend and met a very calous doctor, whom if I had been there would have wondered why his genitals were aching! She had gone in to A&E bleeding not knowing whether it was the cyst or she was miscarrying, he said she needed to have a scan to check for a heartbeat, 'he could do a scan there and then but there was no point as there might be a heartbeat that day but might not be the next day' he proceeded to explain that the appt would be 1-2 days and came back with an appt for mid morning Wednesday (it was Saturday) and said he could not get one sooner was that OK, she said no but he didnt do anything about it, so as she said by email each minute seems like a day, she darent move from her bed for the fear of starting the bleeding again and Mick her partner when he is not at work wont let her do anything - so she is going slightly potty. What a way to spend your 30th birthday, worrying, stressing and bored to death and not able to sleep! Ah well we are a day nearer I suppose, I can feel the stress for her so God knows how she is feeling!
I spent the weekend making an organiser and a mini album they turned out fab and made a lovely present for Anne-Marie for her birthday but couldn't decorate them as I wanted to left them fairly blank to see if it could be dressed up for a baby or not. I delivered them Sunday and she was pleased with them and hoping they would get use cause if she has lost the baby she will put them away for next time! I was in such a hurry I did not take a picture of them. Never mind monkey see monkey do, Amber asked if I would make her a set so I am midway through doing that and this time will get an opportunity to take pictures! The mini albums were inspired by Kathy at Paperphenomenon and the organiser was Dan from My Crafty Life. They both have tweeks to them but without the inspiration nothing would have been created. In both cases I used wallpaper samples for the outer covering, which works out great with a bit of careful choice and supplies you with lengths without joins.
Well I had better sign off now and get something done, God knows what as I dont feel like doing anything!

Re: Daily Chit Chat
Hi Sandra
Thanks for that information.
I was very cross on Saturday on many fronts. She messengered me asking what to do, I told her to stay put refuse to move and ask for out of hours doc to come and see her. They refused to send out a doc so my next instruxtion was to call an Ambulance and get that to take her in to the correct dept but out of hours had instructed her partner to take her in in the car and take her direct to A&E as he would be quicker than an ambulance - I said they shouldnt be doing that but they insisted on doing it and then she was left sitting in A&E for a couple of hours before she was even attended to and they would not pass her on to gynacology nor maternity and were very calous. The doc wants to thank his lucky day I was not there else he would have wished I wasnt! So the scan she is having tomorrow is in gynacology - we wait, pray and hope. But I think for somebody who suffers depression and nerve issues they have treated her very poorly.

Hi All
What a week just have not stopped.
Liz I'm sorry to hear Anne-Marie is getting the bad end of the stick, that just s... treatment. I agree with Sandra if there is any reason at all / needs advise etc ring the Maternity unit you will get a better reception there, they know what there doing, A&E are just that they have know idea about pregnancies or very little.
This happened to me and had the best care possible at the Mat Unit.
Fingers X that all OK sending Hugs & prayers Hun.

Re: Daily Chit Chat
Thanks Chris, keeping fingers crossed and saying a prayer or two, not sure how (or even if) she will cope if it is bad news! Staying positive and encouraging her to do likewise!
Re: Daily Chit Chat
Maternity is the way to go as they know what they are doing. I've been through this with good and bad news and thankfully maternity were just brilliant. Fingers crossed for your daughter.
Re: Daily Chit Chat
Thanks Kerry, I must say I did not think of telling her to go there for advice as she hasn't had her first appointment with midwife yet, they would not let her make one until April 6th/7th ish by which time she will be 12 weeks pregnant but with having this lu-whatever cyst I would have thought they would have been more diligent.
Now over to a crafty subject. Whilst making these albums I got out my hot glue gun as Kath on Paperphenomenon is a hot glue fan, well yet again I was so disappointed. Kath says you have to work quickly and even working quickly the glue had gone hard into a ridge before you had got round a 4 x 4 piece of card and didnt stick anything to anything and just pulled off as a bead! Does anybody else have this problem? I couldnt have gone faster and wondered if my gun doesnt heat up the glue enough - what do you all thin? It is a docraft glue gun and it was an unopened packet of sticks.

Morning All
Liz Goodluck today for Anne Marie hope all goes well.
The frist trimester is the hardest time for anyone going through a pregnancy, so really feeling for Anne Marie right now so sending hugs and prayers her way. x
About the glue gun sounds to me you need to leave it to heat up a little more Yes you do have to work quick which is getting harder for me lately as i'm getting older
It does dry very quickley I have not used it for sticking down card I use mine for embelishments as there smaller but I will try later on to see if it works for me.
waiting for some goodies to come from Custom Crops but this time I think It might get stuck in Customs as they are late arriving this time, never mind I know it will be worth it in the end.
Off to play a game of golf later and must get the washing in
Chris xx

Re: Daily Chit Chat
Hi all, well I'll update you on Anne-Marie it has been a long waiting game all day. Peanuts is fine developing nicely and still beating his/her heart. Peanuts has now started developing limbs and has big eyes but nobody has diagnosed the cause of the bleed nor instructed her what to do or not do so to speak. She never saw a doctor and there are no instructions to contact one!!! She is quite extactic but also somewhat puzzled. I have suggested she should ring maternity and ask them and she said she wasn't sure if she was allowed to as she hasn't had her booking in appt with the midwife yet. I have said I dont think that is relevant she is pregnant and the hospital has diagnosed that so she is entitled to their assistance. She did get two prints off the scan at least this time so it is the start of her album. The album can now have a decorated cover!
How's everybody else today?

Re: Daily Chit Chat
Phew Don't ever sit at home worrying about anything when you're pregnant. Contact maternity or a midwife. Anne-Maries doctor should give you the number of a midwife.
I've painted a ceiling, 2 doors and a radiator today

Re: Daily Chit Chat
My daughter was not booked in but had a scan to check she was pregnant
The maternity ward was fine with her she went a couple of times before it was time to book in because of scares if she is worried she should phone them and ask the question they will tell her what to do
