morning peeps!

urgh i am so sad and fed up about allthe arguing going on over PC getting a settlement with MTC and going after SCAL now. urgh, yes its sad and a bit of a shame and i feel for andy who made MTC and all the cool awesome things it does and he has worked hard to give people a lot more from their cricuts but do you know what? i loved my cricut before i got MTC and i love it still. I loved my DS and i love it still, i would never consider selling my bus becuase i use them all the time, i wish people would stop trying to blame each other and being unkind

urgh vent over, it just makes me sad to see people take it out on each other, especially on the cricut mb, where i feel just cricutty things should be, not bashing for their product, urgh!

ok i think i feel a little better now!!
so this week i have been rushed off my little feet again and i am still battling the cough of evil!!!

i got my totally awesome crikit pens and i am determined to have a play today, sooooo excited, they even came with a little holder and i cant wait to play!! we have been busy playing with mo who made himself a little magnetic racetrack this morning, its on my blog, so cool!!!!

What's happened with MTC.

PC have settled with MTC in court and it looks like MTC wnt be available for the cricut for much longer, i dont know all the ins and out just the bits i have read but i am so sad about all the negativity it has caused on the cricut mb, i dont like it at all when that happens because there are so many other real problems in the world at the minute like japan and it all gets too much for someone so daftly sensitive to negativity like me!!
i need to keep myself cheery!!! oooh pearlescent paper and crikit pens here i come!!!!!!

Charlie is so funny, he just sits and waits for what comes his way! He only gets annoying when we have TOAST!

Lou, very strange that this is going on, makes sense now why we were all being warned a year or so ago by Admin not to use SCAL and MTC................wonder what will happen to Fairy Cut software?

I am going off PC, I didn't like the way they downloaded 5 free cartridges to the Gypsy when one of them I already owned, I feel I wasted a lot of money that I could have kept in MY pocket and not lined theirs. Not sure if the free downloads were offered to the DS as well????? Anyway, I suppose we gained by having the other cartridges for free - not actually used them, I like to have the books to look at and decide what to do.

Just going to go out for a walk, it's lovely here today, I hope everybody is having a great Sunday, very quiet on here again.

Perhaps I am glad I didn't buy MTC!!

I know this might be a silly question but we have over 100 registered users why don't they contribute to the MB? it is just the same few stalwarts that keep the MB going.

I have been asking that as well Pam. It makes no sense to me, people bother to join and never ever post anything. every new member has an email from me welcoming them and asking them to go to the hello thread and introduce themselves and also to go to the carts we have thread and they just dont respond! Why?

Some people are just shy I guess, maybe they want to see projects and ideas and find out what new carts are coming out. I wouldn't take it personally, Liz

Hi Carol I know what you mean when the downloaded the 5 carts free I already had four of them so I only got one free.

nd the reward carts are mostly font carts or old ones

Just uploaded some pics to my personal gallery, do they upload automatically to the user gallery or do i need to add them somehow?

You have to upload them to each gallery - dont ask me how as I havent tried but Lou or Lesley or one of our other ladies should be able to help you.

LIZ it's there a way of taking people of the mb list it they dont join in, umm bit harsh i know (sorry just speaking well typing my mind) i think that they are just all be very nosie people,,and it's there loss they just dont know what they are missing so dont beat yourself up you are doing a grand job

Typing my mind too. There will always be people that like to read but will never post. No offence Dee but reading the suggestion to remove them from the board won't help encourage them to post. We should be looking at ways to increase postings and new members. I've a link on my blog to the forum but I'm also going to do a new blog post telling readers about the forum and what we are about. Perhaps those with a blog could do the same.

Hi Dee yes I can remove people that haven't posted in so many days but like Kerry says we need to encourage folks. I dont understand the joining and not posting as visitors can read everything they just cant reply or post so the only benefit to a member is to reply and post new threads, so I am just totally confused why people join but dont post. I have tried newsletters as you all know but only the same trusty followers still reply and post. I have written about the forum on my blog and I know we have been mentioned on various members blogs. So maybe I need to think of a real hook!

Good morning lovley and sunny here today with a bit of frost,what a good day to get the washing out on the line,mine is out already have to get job out the way early as i am child minding again this week,looking after my niece's little one (9month's old the one that was born 8 week's early) i had him last week he is just so cute.
