Liz, I didn't buy any foil so sorry I cannot help you about acetate.

I go to a Scrapbooking Course once a month so I would be happy to share what I have done, I must photo the Men's Cards I did and get them loaded on here sometime.

Hi liz the scrapbook sounds like a good idea as i need to get the one aim making of my granddaughter and that would make me get on with it

Ok well lets pool some ideas as to how to run a scrapbook section. Are we going to set a theme a month or colour or style or ?????
Once we have got a few suggestions going I will mkae a scrapbook section.

Liz, at my Scrapbook Course which is normally attended by about 10 people we are set a theme like "Holidays" but there are not many of us stick to it as we don't have photo's so we do our own thing!!!!! If we are going to do a theme perhaps we can set a few months at a time so that we can collect the photo's we need. An idea would be to use cuts from a chosen Cricut Cartridge that we all might have, punches, flowers, ribbon and so on These are just a few ideas we could mull over.

Thanks Pam sounds good, I'll ponder and see what other input we get and then we can get that ball rolling.

Hi Sandra, the course was very good and we made a lovely card although it isn't finished yet. The shop was heaving when we got there at 10.am and was still very busy at 3.p.m. so I suggest you get there early. I had every intention of not buying anything but spent a fortune!!!!! I hope you enjoy tomorrow and I wish I could go, in a cabinet on the wall on the right hand side as you walk in about halfway down there is a card made with Creatables Corners No.2. which looks like an Umbrella, there are 3 umbrellas on the card. I have asked them to put the corners away for me until Wednesday. The card we are making on Wednesday is in the cabinet opposite the coffee machine, it is the black and white one with a roll of film on it. I hope you have a nice day tomorrow

hi liz i have not deserted you have been to a demo day at the craft shop in preston it was very busy and some good demos

i am still thinking what to use am tempted to decorate a container that would be thrown away into something else

how are you going with it have you thought of anything yet

the creatable demo was very good the stamping one was ok but not to my taste
i bought some more creatable dies a mag i kept putting things in the basket and then changing my mind the one you have asked them to keep till wed i have that one i used it on the card i did for the blog candy on lou's blog

she used a flower die to cut shrink plastic and then coloured it with promarkers and then shrunk it and used it to make a bracelet i am going to try that

Your classes sound interesting girls, tell us more about them and dont forget to show us some pics too.

I haven't decided about challenge either, I am thinking along the lines of a card as per normal but not got there yet. Today is one of those bum cant touch a seat for more than 10 secs! Took guys to school am then came home, then had to do VAT return (yuck my least favourite job!) then had to go back and fetch Amber out of school as she is hurting a lot today (stomach and hand) now going back to school to fetch Dom and his friend, put nuggets and oven chips in the oven for the guys to take out, whilst I go back to school for Amber's parents evening, then go to chip shop for Amber and John and drop Amber off at her christian meeting to then get back home to chuck John's tea at him and pick Dom and friend up having fed themselves to take them to Karate then back to near school to pick Amber up from her meeting at the end of karate having dropped Dom's friend off at his Nan's and then back home to flake out. All in a mother's day! Dont seem to have planned time for my own tea so that might have to be when I get finally home.

I have been to craft class today and ended up teaching it instead, it was with craftwork card's new range called botanical's, i had to think of something quick to do as i did'nt know i was teaching today ,i will put them on my blog later on.

Some cute things amongst your pics Sandra. Yes my life is madder than most. I had a very nutritious good for you tea whilst Dom was at karate! A cup of vending machine coffee a bag of walkers plain crsips and a raisin yorkie bar! Now to put my feet up and watch a bit of TV as I have just got back in.

What did you teach Dee, sounds almost as mad as me turning up expecting to be doing one thing and then get trapped into doing something else!

Hi Liz, the piccys are coming as soon as I have finished them. This week is manic, I have been out so far on Monday and Tuesday, out again tomorrow and then again on Saturday and in between I need to do some housework, washing and ironing!!!!! thank goodness there is only two of us in the House at the moment, half-term is looming and hopefully 3 of my Grandchildren are coming to stay for a week and then they have no sooner gone than my Nephew is to stay for a week. How is your back and the rest invalids in your House?

Back is fine so long as I dont move! As soon as I move it twinges and twangs. Thanks for asking. John is a bit better this week and Mum's toe/foot is precious little better to look at and no better to her painwise or walking ability! Amber's hand is still giving her stick and we are back at the hospital on Monday with it. She was praised tonight by all her teachers as to how she has kept going since damaging it and they are all hoping for good things from her in her actual exams - hope that doesnt stress her too much and have an adverse affect on her!

liz i go to dolly cottage craft's in chesterfield, and we used the new craftwork card's paper's,i only managed to get one card finished.

Just had another new cart come today from usa $24 think that's about £18/19 and did'nt have to pay any extra p&p,must put it away quick before hubby get's in
