Daily Chit Chat

I think in the entire month of January I have had to sign in perhaps three times, the rest of the time I have remained logged in. Now whether that coincides with some updates be it on our computers or on the forum servers I do not know. But it has been a quick straightforward login no problems taking seconds rather than minutes. I'm popping over to have a look at the punches and dream.

Thanks everyone for the messages I have got a lots of lovely cards and presents, the house smells lovely from my flowers. Yeah I've been to Damons for my Birthday meal it was umm. Dee colesalw and onion loaf was definatley a thumbs up, even bought some home for tomorrow. It was a quiet day as all my buddies were either at work or busy so spent it on my own but never mind had a lovely evening . I went to my shed but my mojo wasn't there , hope it comes back quick.

Well its 41 degress here in Sydney today so out shopping in the air con.
Were off to the Southern Highlands next week for a getaway break so hope to play a little golf.

En, I managed to get on the Pazzle weekend with Klo so looking forward to that very much. When is the March show at the NEC.

Pam hope your over the jet lag. We have a TV programme here that show Martha Stewart doing her stuff its good fun.

Morning Liz, how is the back? It is a miserable day here again but I am off to my Card Class which should be good as we are doing Men's cards today which I don't find easy to do.

Not much improved but thanks for asking Pam. Bring us some photo's back of men's cards. Perhaps we aught to have a men's card section to display inspiration for others as it is a hard topic. I have been for my morning walk with the dog so that kill the first hour, got tea prepared meat in slow cooker, now to run the hover around and quick tidy up. Then I have got a card to make for Friday as it's callum's friend's 13th birthday, he is having a disco. I think there is about 30 kids going sounds like hell to me 30 teenagers, it's bad enough having one in the house.

Dee I am concerned about the difficulties you are experiencing could you pm me with the problems you have encountered with as much details as possible so I can look into it. I myself have been logged in all day and have hopped in and out all day long. We need to address your problems as I dont wont frustration setting in so you dont visit us.

just want to say ever since this new mb has been set up i have been logged in all the time,,,but the last few day's i have been having trouble,, ie-it will not take my user name or my password and i know that i have put the right one's in as i keep a note book will all that kind of info in

It loged me out but I did not have any trouble getting back in I use my iPad most

If I use my computer I some times have trouble with pass words it's something to do with the computer as it's the only one in the house that you have to put the pass word in every time to get on the Internet

no log in problems for me either but i do have to say my internet on a whole has been annoyingly slow the past couple of days!!!!
oh i cannot wait for the weekend this week!! i just need to veg out a bit, i have had some things to iron out with a friends little boy who i have been taking home from school everyday but it is just not working out so i have told her i need to stop doing it after half term and for now i am just dropping him off to her after work, i think she is a bit upset with me but i have to put mo first. i feel dreadful so i am ready for a 2 day break from it all!!!!
have had a couple of ideas for my recycled card!! got to out them into action though!! lol!!

whats everybody else up to today?

It has been very quiet on here today, has everyone been blown away with the wind, it is blowing a howler here at the moment.

Lou, I know how you feel about giving lifts to other children and had the same problem when I used to do the school run many years ago.

Well it has been quiet today, everybody shopping and getting ready for the weekend? I have been trying to rest the old back whilst running round after hubby who has a contageous stomach problem so he is at one end of our bungalow and Mum who has a very septic toe and foot at the other end of the building. No sooner has bum touched a seat then one or other would be needing something and up I would have to get again. I called the docs and asked them to come and look at Mum's septic toe again and would you believe I was asked if I thought it would wait until tomorrow, so I very politely but curtly said if I thought it could have waited until tomorrow then I wouldn't have rung today! Logical I thought but then the triage GP retorted back you are giving oposing information, how says I, well on the one hand you say you aren't medically trained but on the other hand you are saying you dont think it can wait until tomorrow so you are making a medical decision. Eventually we got a visit from one of the GP's and she was a bit like somebody who had been stung in the bum by a wasp! Very short and very curt and not very sociable to Mum and then didnt have the grace to say you were quite right in calling us out but she now has to have a second set of antibiotics to take along side the first ones and if it gets any worse or does not respond she will have to be admitted to hospital for intravenous antibiotics! So was I right insisting on a visit - I think so!!! God why do we have to argue and get stroppy to get the simplest things done.

Liz I hope everyone gets better soon. Doc's well it make me laugh when the receptionist asks whats wrong and if you need to see someone today, when did they become doc's.

Had a fab day yesterday, went out with a couple of friends to a workshop the company and other ladies were so lovely. Oh but did buy a stamp and some paper it felt like my birthday all over again.

Ok must go now and get kids to school, I'm on the school run today.

Fi you beat Lou today to posting you are the early bird today! I have to have Dom into school for 7.50 today cause of a trip them come home get Amber moving and take her back for 8.50! Do these flipping schools think petrol grows on trees?

This morning i was up very early, the wind kept me awake most of the night,so i think i will go to the supermarket and get that out the way then i may just have 40 wink's,hubby is not working this weekend first the for week's so i am hopeing we are going to go out for the day on saturday maybe to york.

we have just as much trouble one of the recep ladys is terrable
one of them is great and will do as much as she can foir you so we have our fingers crossed when we pohone that we get her

I think receptionists think they have some magical power and it goes to their heads! I think our trouble is we had the best GP one could possibley hope for and he retired last September. He was efficient, caring, compassionate, and on the ball - nothing was too much trouble for him and he wouldnt just take the easy option he worked with you until he found a solution or reason his fellow partner also retired and now we are left with quick solution no personality, nobody who knows you or your problems etc etc. I have said to the receptionists I wish Dr B would come out of retirement and they say dont think he wants to but wish he would too!

Well Liz my morning start at 6.00 every morning what with pack ups and dog to deal with pots to do and most of all kids and myself to get ready. It's great cos I share lifts to school with Callum and only have to do Mon and Friday mornings but that starts by leaving house at 7.30 to pick and drop off at school about 8.00. Then it's a quick walk for dog then drop ally off at 8.50. back to finish the dog walk for an hour and then the household duties start. I work Tuesday and Weds so that's me up and out to work at 7.00 but must get kids sorted before I go and tea in slow cooker so when I get in at 5.00 it's just a case of veg to cook. Hey ho never mind it's good to be busy (umm is it me thinks).

Well Dee the stamp I got was ........... NOT a Tilda it's a sugar Nellie so cute and today I must stamp it, well that is the plan. I will try and post cards on my blog later but don't hold your breath.

I'm going to have a visitor this afternoon so that will be a break and cuppa time, I got up extra early to make sure I could get a few jobs done. Dog walked, hovering done, tea prepared, washing machine loaded, just got dishwasher to empty then it's ......... playtime for me

Liz, I hope everyone gets better soon, you seem to be having a rather rough time at the moment but hey ho Spring is around the corner and hopefully better weather to come. The bulbs seem to be enjoying the mild weather we have snowdrops out and the crocus are showing colour.

I have stayed logged in all the time since the blip i had the other day.

Dee I think it looses the NO but I think it only does it when you log out and in but wouldnt swear to that. Glad no more blips on the logging in. Now I do believe you should have received an email message saying you had a PM but they may depend on your choices of notification in your profile. Send me a PM and I will look what it does on mine!
