Lesley didn't go to Sir Stamp alot today as it said on web they were closed unless a workshop was on. I have been to a place at Market Deeping today very nice I took MIL to Riverside beads they have a paper craft places as well it was lovely bought a few goodies. They have a web add http://www.dalexkrafts.com if anyone fancys a look, they are very nice friendly people. While there I did try and find Hobbycraft but didn't suceed so had to call by Paper Mill at Spalding on way home. Sad news they are closing the shop end of march or may be before just depends on stock. Must get on and get my post done on my blog speak later.

Now you know En that man anything is worse than anything we as mere women could possibly understand! My son hates it when I say things like that he says I am sexist! Mind you in his fairness he tends to be more like Mum and keep going but then he has time to change he is only 14!
Now ladies I need some feedback regarding birthdays. In the past we have had one volunteer to email our small group and remind us regarding birthdays but our family is growing a bit large for that, we are at 69 currently. Now there is a feature on one of the pages to advise you of birthdays from 7 days forward and counting down but for this to work our members have to fill in the birthday section in their profile. It has been suggested I do a sticky for birthdays which I am happy to do if you want me to but you wont get a reminder that way. Could I please have some input as to what you would like me to do regarding this as I think as we grow it is a bit much for one person to remember to email everybody else to remind us.
Forgot to say Google bot was crawling us again today!

i was super busy trying to get a few bits done last night.....still lots to do!!
this morning i am just trimming down some photos of scotts nanna and grandad on their wedding day for their 60th wedding anniversary invites that i need to get finished off later.
i have to be honest and say i don't feel like going to work today!! i have woken up with that crafty feeling and would rather do that all day instead....wonder if my bosses would understand that if i rang them........

Hello everyone what are you all doing today I have been to the supermarket with daughter and then spent the afternoon putting Micky and friends on my gypsy ready to cut out tomorrow for the other wall in grand daughters room one wall has tigger and friends on

Been naughty again and ordered 2 more carts while the sales are still on in the us
Bought picturesque and toy story just have to wait for them to arrive

We are very popular with Google at the moment they have crawled us three or four times per day for the past few days.

Just to let you all know (I know some don't like Hobbycraft, I work there and I love it!) but they have just reduced everything in their 70% off sale by a further 70% off the 70% off price does that make sense lol! I'm on holiday this week but just had to go in and they have fab 12x12 papers 20 for £1, needless to say I bought 100 sheets as well as lots of other goodies! So if you have one near you it's worth a visit!

Hi Julie there's a Hobby Craft about 10 miles away from me, I wouldn't mind going but can only go next week, will the sale still be on then.

Im very board today, on my own in my house waiting for my new hoover to be delivered, then I supose id better do some house work . Im sitting in my craft room not knowing what to do, is there any more challenges going on?

I just emailed my floor manager and she says that they have not been given an end date so I think it will still be going next week . Hope you manage to get some bargains!

I don't know if anyone has the slice machine but if any of you have they had reduced the slice cartridges to £9.99 and today they had reduced a few in the range to £2.99!!

Lesley fancy admitting to being bored. I should get crafting if I was you and you can always make out that the Hoover wasn't delivered until late by which time it wasnt worth starting as there was the evening meal to consider! I know you would rather have been investigating Hobbycraft! I have no money to spend and had a problem to resolve with C&C saying they had tried to take the final payment for my Gypsy from my debit card, when the bank says they haven't then I telephoned through to C&C and they said they couldnt take the payment the card was out of date and to leave it until today and ring some debt collection company in Manchester who took my final payment over the telephone which proved the card wasnt out of date but I said I was not prepared to pay any charges they were trying to charge me as it was their error! The girl at the debt collection company agreed with me and has emailed Ideal World to explain the error on their side and to tell them I have paid the final amount and to ask them to wipe out any charges they were thinking of charging me. In the meantime my C&C account is locked! Ah well I had no budget left so I cant be tempted.
Amber's hand is still hurting but she got a B in textiles and a B in English Lang., I think it was a C in English Lit, top mark in French reading and CCD I think it was in Science that she hates and C in Maths. Today she started doing her art painting mock and is doing the best she can! Hand hurts but art teacher says she has made a good start!
John had a cortezone injection in his hip Monday night which has cuased him severe pain and he has been in bed ever since unable to move, the GP thinks he must have knicked a blood vessel and it is bleeding into the muscle which is causing the pain and it should eventually go away so instead of removing the pain he is 10 times worse off!! If it doesnt work after two weeks he will have to have surgery.
After 18 months wait I got to see spinal specialist today who was a bit wet behind the ears and first of all suggested it was my age and wear and tear! I said I am 50 not 80 and dont expect to be in the pain and engaging in the problems I am with my spine and leg for the rest of my life and at the time of it all starting I was in my 40's! So he agreed I was in my 50's but we all live longer now which is presenting problems and difficulties in the 70-90 range to which I am afriad my answer was I wasnt in that age range either and I wasn't prepared to be pushed to one side on my age, so I have to have a MRI scan and then go back to see them! Would you believe one of the possible treatments depending on diagnosis was a series of cortizone injections into the spine - I wont tell you what I was thinking but I bet my bottom dollar you can all guess what I was thinking!

Well just been surfing on the bay and found a hand made card that is going for 20pound,,wish i could sell some of mine 2pound would be good.

Also today i have had another cart arrive(april showers) so i have just one more to come,whoop's forgot i have 1 or maybe 2 at fiona's that i have not collected yet.

Today i have been for a run out, i went over to once upon a stamp (and did'nt spend a thing) then i went to dolly cottage craft's both in the chesterfield area.

One more thing to tell you,, i had a phone call from one of my niece's asking me if i could go with her to pick her prom dress, well i jumped at the chance to go with her,well she picked a lovley deep pink fitted dress, fitted at the top and layer's of net for the skirt in shade's of pink dotted with the odd glitterd flower's,very very pretty just wished my sister, her nan was still here to see her as she loved dresses like that as she used to be a ballroom dancer, sorry to say she passed away 18month's ago..xxxx

Hi Liz you poor thing hope everything goes well for you, sounds like you have got enough on your plate at the moment. Hasn't Amber done well in getting good grades, well done to her. The injection John had sounds really painful, hope he recovers soon.

day.
