Just thought I would pop back in and tell you our guest designer calender is now full for all the year 2 spots per month one on the 15th of the month and the other on the 28th of the month. Thanks to all our guest designers for supporting us.

morning peeps!! how are we all today?
Liz- poor amber, hope she isn't too sore today.
Mo and I are just vegging out and watching the scooby doo show before we go to school/work. Its all jack frosty here again this morning so i am hoping it will warm up a bit once the sun comes up!

Thanks Lou and Karen, she only got me up once last night for my nursey duties! She is on exam times again this week and should not go in until 1.30 but last night she was adament that she was going to get up and take Dom in as normal but in the cold light of day she has taken more painkillers and is not getting up (no surprise there) and wants waking up at 11 to get washed dressed and do a bit more to her art before I take her in for her exam!

Paige dropped art gcse as it was getting her behind on her other subjects (she hasnt got a artistic bone in her body)like child devopment as she wants to be a nursery nurse/ta the hassle I had to get through to the head of year that this would help her was unbelivable but stood my ground and told them!!!
So much work involved in art/textile gcse well any gcse really never had to do that much when I did them im sure.

Hi Karen, Amber is just keeping pace with the coursework in both Art and Textiles but the hand couldn't have come at a worse moment but there is nothing I can do so help where allowed. She intends taking Art and Textiles at A levels too! Next year Dom will be doing art as well as he needs it to be allowed at Uni to cover annimation in his gaming programming course!

Glad to see most are up and about, maybe not windswept but hey - it is January!!!!!

Nasty accidents with black ice. After I dropped James off at school I was just driving my normal route home and this man was on the pavement, feet not moving but he just could't stop because of the ice, it made me slow down to about 20mph without hesitation, the footpath just looked wet - it was raining at the time. So please please please, when they say there is black ice - it is there, I have never seen it like that before - freightening.

Liz, I am not sure what this friends thing does, I think possibly all you do is click on your friends name if you want to send a pm, seems a bit quicker than the old MB.

Lets see who gets the sun today!

Hi Pam, are you still enjoying your holiday?

Oh girl's sound's like we have all been having fun (we wish) i have had 3 visit's to the dentist 1 on friday and 2 today, i broke my front tooth straight up the middle 1/4'' of tooth was just wobbling from my gum , so i have had it rebuilt, so i am just back and cannot feel a thing at all on my top lip or gum's and told not to eat for 6 hour's then i have to go back in the morning to have it checked over and hopefully it will be ok if not i have to go through it all again, if it has'nt worked i may have to have the tooth out, (only me could make a mess like this),i would'nt mind but i have'nt had any sweet's of any kind for week's

Oh Dee you did do a proper job on the tooth then, nothing like doing things by halves. Good Luck hope today worked and it has fixed it.

Well I have had a good clean around today, washing done just got to iron it now. That means I will be able to play tomorrow as it's my day off. Right kids feed, now for homework rounds lets see if it's been done.

well, i have been thrown up on twice by my gorgeous little charge at work today, bless her! she was happy as larry but very projectile so hence to say sh wont be in nursery tomorrow!! i will be spending the day catching up on her development journal instead! lucky me!!!!

Its raining here in Australia.I see were getting busy on here so I just poped in to see you all. I cant get to answer all the messages. But I love my Imagine its big loud and just like me full of fun. I wound'nt be without her. Yes she is expensive but well worth it I think.

I'm gald to see Liz your working hard keeping it all running smothly. Looking forward to joining in with all the fun when I get back.

I had a flu jab yesterday, and feel really pants. Has anyone else had it, and did you have any side effects? I am all shivery and achey. A very dear friend of mine died last week, and her funeral is tomorrow, so not looking forward to that obviously, saying goodbye is so hard.

Sorry to hear your sad news En, thoughts will be with you supporting you. Yes Amber is going through a patch of bad luck after bad luck, fingers crossed it will change soon! Will make sure to hop onto your blog.

Mum and DH had one a few weeks before Xmas and they both ended up with the sniffles, shakes etc etc and to be honest still have them 0 not what you wanted to hear I know!

Oh en, so sorry to hear about your friend hunny, sending some big lou and mo hugs.
On the flu jab Mo is always ill for around 3 days after his, we try to plan them for fridays or school holidays now but without the he can get very ill!! so its kind of a lesser of 2 evils really!

well i am sat in my craft room pickling out bits of a lacey cut i downloaded, will pop a piccy on later if i get chance but its the dreaded monthlies again and i am feeling pooped out so after picking up mo and his buddy from school and doing a bit of playing i might fall asleep!!!!

Hi All Just had another trip to Pear Tree Crafts, brought some more card and envelopes, mirror board,Tim Holtz ink pad and some 12 x12 plain card. I think this will keep me going for a bit. My craft room is bulging from the seams, I'm hoping the ceiling wont cave in LOL.

Ii have heard several people saying they have had mild flu symptoms for 2 or 3 days after the flu jab, I hope you feel better in a day or 2.

bit of a lie in here today as mo didnt wake until 6am and scott is feling rather unwell, i have a horrible feeling it is vertigo which his dad suffers from quite badly (....my dad too come to think of it!!!) so i hope he fels better soon.

I was busy creating a bit of a boob and pants card with my MTC last night, i found the file a while ago and was so pleased to be able to cut it out, its cute, will take piccy and post it on my MTC bit in a min!

Good for you Lou, you always seem to fit in some crafting time. I wish ! Yesterday was another take Dom in at normal time, come home, take Amber in later, come home, fetch Amber out, do some jobs, go fetch Dom come home, take Dom to cadets, take Amber shopping ofr CD rack and video rack and try and re-design her room to give her more room (ended up with half her new unwanted stuff in my office - she has got plenty more room!)

Just a quick note our small family jumped from 46 yesterday to 54 this morning! So we are growing not quite so slowly!

Think when I am not drilling and screwing to put Amber's new racks up I might drop the newbies a little note asking them to introduce themselves as quite a few have not done that so we know them all which makes breaking the ice easier.
