We leave at 12pm as were flying from Heathrow and hubby likes to get there early just incase there are any hold ups along the way.

Sorry just posted a new topic when it should have been on here.

I felt the earthquake tonight about 9ish. It was on news at 10 tonight, Ian thought I was mad when I went downstairs to ask if they felt something.

I knew I wasnt going mad.

Evening to everybody, I think I have felt earthquakes before but how can you prove it? I even logged onto the internet to see if something had happened, it was worse in Ripon, infact it's just coming on Radio Leeds.

I didn't know our new forum was going to make the earth move! I just was hoping for the crafters to move.

As you had posted twice I removed the other post and left this one on, hope that OK!

Good morning all, Chris have a lovely holiday and do you think you could just pack a little sunshine in your suitcase and bring back with you, Ive never wanted summer to arrive so much.

Carole I heard about the earthquake this morning, that is the second one in a couple of weeks in England, when my dad was alive he told me that as a boy he and his brothers were tossed out of bed one night (they slept four to a bed, it was in the twenties!!!!) at the time they were living in Suffolk and it was not until he was older that he released what it had been. Lets hope they do not get any stronger.

I have a sore throat this morning so I am hoping that I do not have the dreaded cold coming

Good Morning my little Critcutees.

This is my last post for now. just sneaking on while hubby taking a shower. Liz Youv'e done an amazing job with this Board, I think you have spoilt us , but know slacking off now, the Girls will let me know if you are and I'll have to get my whip out again.

All enjoy the lovely challenges that are coming up for you soon I'm not jealous just so happy I found my new found Family I feel very Blessed that I've met you all. Will have withdrawal symptoms but I'm sure the a little ray of will fix that.

Well Callum back to school today and Ally goes tomorrow so he is still in bed but that will change in a minute as we have the supermarket shop to do. Don't know about everyone else but i have woken up to a nice covering of snow, but not enough to stop me doing anything. I guess it may be a little quiet today as lots of us have to go back to work after the break, that's what the evening is for lots of chat !!! lol

Good morning girl's,, we also have a dusting of the white stuff.

Well hubby and son back at work today so i'm all alone, feel's very strange today as they have both been away from work for two week's.

I have just had a phone call from a friend asking me out to brunch, dont feel up to it but i'm going to have to push myself as this flu bug is still hanging on and i have had it since 11th dec, jusr wish it would go away,i'm so sleepy and have still not got any go in me.

Fi we have got lovely snow here too!! its forecast until 10am then rian tomorrow. It looks all pretty here again.
I am going out for a meal tonight with the girls from work, it is Karen's birthday so we are heading to a little pub called the brown cow, its lovely there.
I have a house full of little peeps again and have just been listening to them play.
Scott is busy moving ryan's bed down a bit so i can make it look like a settee ( we had to build him one as the space in his room is quite limited!
I am still playing with my MTC, its fun!!
Didn't feel any earthquakes last night so it can't of reached me!!!
right must pootle off and get pink milk and cheese strings for the mini peeps!!!

Well I am back at work now so cant chat for long. Can't believe there was an eathquake yesterday, I don't think we have ever got one down in my neck of the woods.

Lou what cut files do mtc use is it the same scal or are they different just interested as I have loads of svg files. I really can't get on with scal.x

HI Girls Did anybody have any of that fluffy stuff again, we did, it only lasted about 1/2 hr thank god. My son went back to school today, Husband back to work , food shopping done, Christmas dec's down, just the dreaded ironing to do. I keep on hoping that when I go out of the room, the Ironing fairy's would have done it for me. But no luck. To day I found a fantastic warehouse in Sandiacer , Near Nottingham. That sells everything crafty. When I went in, it looked a tip ( boxers of paper on top of peel-offs ect) But as you start to rummage around you find some right bargains and the price was very resemble too. A 50 pack of scalloped edge cards with envelopes was £5.30 , I think that was quite good. Will be going again.

Hi ya i've been to pear tree craft's,, very good but you do have to pick up and rummage around and wow you can pick up some very good cheap thing's,,,infact i may just have to have a ride across,,

Lesley i came over to derby the other day and called at little eaton garden center, and went into the craft bit but they did'nt have much in at all.

Well I thought I would let you know we have now grown to 30 members and the Guest Designer list is filling up nicely so I am now trying to get you a second designer each month - fingers crossed we will have a guest visit on 15th and 28th of each month. I have several more designers commited but they haven't chosen their spot yet, so do keep checking over on the Guest Designer thread to see if your favourites are there.

Woke unto some of the White stuff this morning it's all gone now
Spent the day with dd and baby granddaughter shopping for some cloths for her she is growing so fast
Had blood test for my thyroid before Christmas doctors have not got the results so have to have them done again need the result as I know the levels have gone again and need increasing
There is a update for design studio with the new carts not tried to update my gypsy yet that is tomorrow challenge

Just had a peek at the list of guest designers - thanks Liz it's looking like it will be exciting.
Its a bit rainy here today its quite a novelty! I'm going to pop out and visit the Lowry shopping center today which isn't far away from me and has the added attraction of two craft shops. One is the Paper mill where I often stock up on card. Hope you are all having a good day - I'm enjoying getting back to normal after the holidays.

chris- MTC can use scal files too, you just need to click on the import button and the file comes up on the screen really quick. I am finding it fabulous, just need a bit more energy at night to stay awake and play with it!!
i havent been to the place you went lesley but it sounds super fun, i love a good rummage!!!

Have you ever been to CHA before? I understand according to a post I was reading that it is basically a trade show this time, general public are not allowed into it like they were at the previous show.

Knew you weren't at work today Lou - you are later popping on. I used to have a competition with myself on the old MB as to whether you or I would post first in a day!

Have you all seen the cricut blockbuster on C&C it is the machine, 2 black cartridges, 2 colour cartridges and 3 Imagine Carts I think fot £494 if you are in the club!

It is a trade show Liz. One of the companies that I am on the DT for (scrappy go lucky) are flying over from australia for it. She wanted to get her DT together, so has rented a big apartments close to the convention centre. Diane (Capadia) is coming as well, so it will be fun to meet everyone. Promarkers are showing there for the first time as well, so as they sponsor my blog, I will be sitting on their stand doodling away whenever I feel like a sit-down! They are really trying to break into the american market, so I hope it goes well for them, flying the flag for the UK and all that...
I am booked onto some fabulous classes. I think the idea is that they give classes for all the store owners, so that they can go back and teach their customers (and order their stuff to sell). I am doing a couple of cricut ones, hero arts, tattered angels, forget the rest. Will pass on tips!!

oooh En that sounds so exciting hun, i bet you will have a fabulous time. I would be counting down the days!! lol!!! and your avatar piccy is gorgeous too hun.

It sounds absolutely fab En, I assumed it was as a designer you were going. I belive Robyn from Pink Stamper will also be there with her DVD's and stamps. Yes Diane told me should be there and then a few weeks after that she is on the cricut cruise.
