Lou's thoughts so Far on her new MTC!!

I dont know anything about the new cricut ds hun as i havent bothered with the other mb since you made us this one! i will try and get time to have a look tonight!

It was just a thought that they have gone for the all singing all dancing sync which we now have to use on gypsys so maybe it covers everything. Doubtful I know cause it would make life simple and be logical.

this is the john deere logo card i have made for a friends son at work, he adores tractors and john deere is his fav ( grandad is a farmer!!) i just need to finish it off by pooping lewis on in yellow but i was so excited to share it!!! the logo was on the free files bit on my MTCand I made the easel bit by drawing around it! the grey bit holding up the easel is my idea for making it look like a tractor tyre!!!!

Oooooooo I like this I like it alot lol (sorry Bruce almighty in my head then) I have the demo but havent cut anything with it doh!!!
I loved how it cut out the card u did for the challenge as well it looks really good,will do some serious thinknig about this as I dont want to keep buying carts (only special ones) and can get so many free downloads for this ......oooh you are awful lou lol

I use Make the Cut a lot! I love having the ability to cut any font I have on my computer! And especially doing designs for things I only want one cut of! I've searched images on google, downloaded them, then traced them in MTC and cut or embossed, or even drawn them! I've done trains, Cat in the Hat, even Hooters (a chain restaurant known for their wings in the US, it may all be known for girls in short shorts and tight shirts, but most men won't admit it, and I know they don't have a scrapbook line hehe). I've used both SCAL and MTC, and MTC is just easier to me. So I do use it more often.

I love my MTC... I don't have and never had tried SCAL... so I am biased, but I like the ease of the program and how Andy is always giving us new features with the free upgrades.

I had Sure Cuts a Lot, but found it hard to master. After buying MTC and watching a few videos on line, I am using MTC almost all the time. There are a lot of free cuts on many different blogs, and several really good stores to purchase cuts for as low as $1.50 US. You only need to buy what you want to use not a whole cartridge where you might only use 1 or 2 cuts. The message boards for MTC and the free updates, and tutes make it a very user friendly software. They recently put out a new revision, which was free, and it made the cutting speed much faster and smoother. I LOVE THIS PROGRAM, it is a great addition to my cricut. I have attached my Christmas card as an example of what it can do. I have seen it on blogs for as little as $58.00, and all up dates are free.

ok, here's my bra and panties. The link to the lady who kindly shared her SVG is on my blog. I do love these cards!! inside is red heart embossed vellum, it looks yummy but i forgot to take a piccy of that, doh!!!

Lou did you cut this all with MTC? including card base?

Lou do you think it might be good to start a sticky thread for MTC where we list forum address and any freebie sources of files etc? If you let me have the info you have then I will post it in a sticky if you think it is a good idea.

OK here's my latest MTC card. ( used a penny duncan base again, she is such an awesome lady, thank you penny xxx) and a gerbera daisy svg i found by googling gerbera daisy!!! yey!!!
I entered this in En's bug creation blog challenge, there are loads of absolutely gorgeous cards in it so go and have a peek at them and vote for some peeps.

No liz, it was lovely to make, it is red vellum with 8 layers to make it look more gerberay!!!

it just took an age to dry in between layers when i put it together, i think its because my craft room has been so cold over night with the frosty weather!!

i made it curl just by running my thumb nails up the petals once it had dried!!!

Fab effect I really love it, it is so realistic and looks really pricey.

Little roses are my new fave this week!! i made a few for my friend pauline out of scraps of card in my scrap box and she really liked them. the file is from penny's blog.

Here is my latest MTCcreation!!! its a circle framey doiley thingy with a heart welded into it. I made it to say thank you to all the people who share their MTC files. I know its nothing super exciting but I love it and I am really proud of it!!!
