hi all

I hope everyone is ok. I'm having a rough day, my nan was rushed into hospital yesterday and has heart failure. I also learned today that my friend in the USA passed away this morning, losing her long and horrible battle against breast then bone then liver cancer. I could do with a drink.

Very sorry for all your sad news, you need that day off work I was promising you!

Dee, I don't think I will be buying the new mag, it looks as though it has a bit of everything in it but I would like the Molly Bloom stamps as I do like them, there were some on Simply Cardmaking and Papercrafts the other month which were very nice. One of my card classes next month is using Molly Bloom stamps.

Help I think I have lost my MOJO
For the past 3 days I have been trawling the internet for ideas for a birthday card for a nineteen year old boy, it's so frustrating.
And all the ideas I come up with for this months challenge all end up in the bin, Sorry Kerry but I might be missing this months challenge.

Sorry to hear your sad news Kat sending hugs and hope Nan has a speedy recovery.
My last sleep over tonight before my long flight home , but we have had a fab time. Pam I hope your over your Jet Lag we should swap notes when I get back, not done any craft shopping . I will make up for it at the NEC show in March anyone going.

We arrive home on Sunday 12.30pm and then a 3hr drive home We can't wait for a nice English cup of Tea.

Really looking forward to being active on the board again and doing the challenges I have this wake up time when I arrive back from Aus It's 4am and this goes on for about a week .

I'm off to the Make-It show at Farnborough today with my mum and hope I'll come home with a big bag of goodies. I have my eye on getting some new Hero Art stamps, some papers and hopefully some bargains I'll let you know later. Have a good day everyone.

Chris, have a good trip home and please bring back the sun with you as I have only seen it on the rare occasions since I have been back and look forward to swooping notes when you get back.

Kerry have a good day at Farnborough and hope you come back with some nice goodies. A friend went to Stitches (the trade show at Birmingham) last weekend and reported that there was nothing much new.

Lesley, I have come to the conclusion that Men shouldn't have Birthday's as they are very hard to make cards for!!!!!!!

It is a miserable day here again today and certainly no sign of the sun. Carol we didn't have any snow last weekend, only hit it when we got over the hill on our way to Sheffield!!!!!

Dee I havent seen Fi on here for a while could you tell her I can not make it tomorrow, forgot the kids are off school, will have to make it some other time.

thanks to you all too for the sympathies, i'm sad for me really, not for her, she was in awful pain in the end and it was a blessing for her for it to be over.

Hope everybody is OK and mojo's return. I may be MIA over the weekend as my eldest daughter (30 in a month) was rushed in to hospital last night in extreme pain which they are not bottoming and 'needed' her Mum this morning so have been backwards and forwards all day. We have gone through apendisitis, eptopic pregnancy and nasty urine infection, one doc says she has a cyst on her ovary another says she hasnt she has been nil by mouth then cancelled nil by mouth and then back to nil by mouth then cancelled again all since 8 am this morning. She is getting extremely concerned as a recovered drug addict that she is just being pumped full of morphine to keep her pain free but this does not mend the pain and she is very concerned it may cause her to have a set back so is now refusing the morphine. Amber is very close to her and been in tears all day on and off worrying for her, but if Mumma doesnt get some sense tomorrow she will be putting her foot down with a firm voice whather she is almost 30 or not. She is 30 going on 12 and Amber is fifteen going on 30!

Check back if I get an opportunnity later this evening. Just taking Amber down to her CU Youth Club which I think will do her good amongst her friends and fetching her back 10pm, Dom gone to one of his friends and picking him up after collected Amber which then means they will be refreshed and chilled out for a medical day tomorrow! Say a few prayers please for Anne-Marie and the baby she wants so much and is so worried over.

Kat i have just looked at the link for the men's card's and WOW what brill art work.

Well what a night my hubby came in from work with lot's of cut's up his arm, they run from his wrist to his elbow on the inside of his left arm he has been very lucky the cut's just miss the main vain in his wrist, think he really need's to go to a&e, but oh no denise can clean them up and dress them,i should be at fiona's in morning but that may have to change.

Tonight i have also put some card's on my blog.

How did your hubby get the cuts Dee? You should know men always think they dont need to go anywhere wifey can sort it, if they went a&e they might have to show patience and wait!

Thanks Lesley for the hugs I think I could do with them. Anne-Marie had made all the arrangements that when Mum called I had her full permission for all things to be discussed with me (she prefers it that way as she doesnt remember eveything said to her when she is in a tizz!) and I rang this evening to see how she was doing and after hanging on the phone for 20 mins for the ward to answer the phone, I first got a mail who told me I could wait and talk to a nurse and then was met with a bureaucratic nurse who thought she was God and refused to give me any information, they are not allowed to say anything over a phone, she didnt know anything about any permissions I could find out when I visited tomorrow. I was too tired to argue but somebody had better have some answers tomorrow else they will meet the full force of my tongue! I believe the plan is to take bloods early tomorrow which will be 36 hours for tests that musnt be done closer together than 48 hours! Then if the hormone's have doubled that is good if not we will be back on the nil by mouth and it will be theatre and an endoscopy, so God knows what tomorrow brings.

Hi girl's back from craft club,,had a good time today,played a lot

My hubby's arm, well he work's with power cable's and what happened was he has to cut the cable open and inside it there is lot's of small cables with very sharp wire in.

BLOG'S!!!!!! can anyone tell me why we bother with putting the card's we make on our blog page's WHY OH WHY dont people leave a comment behind when they have veiwed the page, it would be very nice to have a bit of input from blog browers.

It is disheartening when you don't get comments, but is anyone visiting your site? We know your blog is out there, because of your link but does anyone else know about it? How about joining in with some card challenges, that way people will visit and leave a comment or perhaps join a design team too, if you have time. There are thousands of card/scrapping blogs out there for people to look at, so the chances of anyone stumbling across a specific blog, is slim.
