Hi all, its Jacqueline here, just like to ask what page are we using for general chit-chat, could someone let me know, thanks so much liz for setting this up, it is so much quicker

just go to your profile and click on add friend or foe search for the name and then add.
it will then become a request for then to reply to you. Hope that makes sense

Just to let you know that Hobby Craft has a brilliant sale on at the moment, they are selling £10 stamps for £2.50 and lovely A4 envelopes at 20 for £2 I got cuttlebug dies for £2.99 and lovely anna griffin pads for £1.49, it is well worth having a look at your local stores

Not a big fan of Hobbycraft, but I bought some lovely stamp sets from there in the sale too.

Hi Kerry, I find that some of the items are so expensive, I like to have a look in the Range as well and they are often at least £2 pounds cheaper that Hobbycraft, I have to ask hubby to take me to the craft shops as they are quiet a distance away from me.

Yes, I find Hobbycraft expensive too. The Grange is approx 15miles from our house, but I've been there.

Just to let you know we are up to 15 members now and Pam has found us and I have activated her so hopefully she will post to us soon.

Oh it's getting busy on here that's fab, great to be able to get logged in and stay logged in. I have had a few hours of me time today, so I've been busy trying to get Birthday cards done for January it's a busy month for Birthdays I have 15 cards to do. Two very important card as It's my little Ally's Birthday he will be 9 on 15th Jan. He is very lucky to be with us as at four days old he was given a 50/50 chance of surviving but thanks to the wonderful medical team at QMC he's here and doing very well, minus a few bits. It my mum's birthday on the 5th so that's two cards need they one from the kids, one from me and Darren so that's puts my numbers up again.

I've had soooo much fun playing in my shed and made a good start. Got in trouble as always from hubby as I was having a little Skype chat and he couldn't download his film HA HA we laughed as he radio down to get off the line (we have CB radio's so to stay in touch, I know so sweet ) after a a while we gave in and let him download his film.

Well waffled enough and it's getting late so best go to bed, back soon

Morning peeps!!
i have had a bit of a restless night so gave in and came down with mo at 5am! scott came down too so we are all breakfasted and waiting for a sleepy ryan to wake himself up too!! we are off to dunelm mill today for ryan to choose some material for him bedroom blind. my mumy makes fab roman blinds. ryan's bedroom needs a little bit of sprucing up, it hasnt been decorated for 6 years and it used to be mo's nursery so it needs a splash of life in it!
I have a basket of 2 loads of ironing to do and hope to play on my MTC a bit more today.
whats everybody else up to today?

Morning Lou, I have spent all morning taking down the Christmas decorations inside and out and the Christmas cards. I am now enjoying a cuppa and feet up, after having put everything away in the false eves, and enjoying reading what has been posted on the forum since my visit last night. Not sure what the rest of the day brings yet!

Well I'm ironing all my summer dresses ready for packing I know they will crease but I put them away in one of those vac bags and they do need it.

I Judge Gymnastics and I'm an Adminstrator for my local Gym Club, so I'm busy putting the final touches to competition entries etc. We have lots of comp in the spring so will be busy most weekends from March onwards, but it's great fun I really enjoy it. It's a good job I'm a SAHM.

That so funny Fi about your CB radio's, we live in a wood and it's about 3.5 acre's and when Richard is pottering in the Garden and it's coffee time I have a whistle that came out of a christmas cracker 1 year and i whistle him and say here Boy, he comes runnin I have him so well trained.

Sam wil take ours down as she like the house full of decoration that she will put them away on Thursday.

Good morning all, well afternoon now, Im having a relaxing day today just putting inserts into some cards that I have made.

Good luck at Dunelm Lou, I dont think I have ever been in that shop and it has been empty, I love their scissors and my hubby curses everytime I want some new ones as the queue will be six deep all for a couple of pairs of scissors.

Now I am confused. What is the FRIEND request used for? is that something different to the forum.

I haven't taken my decorations down yet as we always take them down on the 6th but I must admit to having had enough of them by then, it is just something I grew up with that we couldn't take them down before then so I have always stuck to it lol.

Brian is asleep at the moment as even though we had a very quiet christmas and new year, the times we have had people round has worn him out - he hasn't had the best of days the last few days so I want him to sleep as much as he can. Benn is busy on his X-Box playing Guitar Hero which he loves so I am having a good old look around the forum and debating whether to go an get all my cartridges to add to the link. Trouble is I am feeling so lazy today (haven't had much time to just sit quietly for so long) that I don't really want to get up off the settee at the moment lol.

Ooh but I am feeling sooooo guilty though:lol:

Morning all

Well I have just done a quick trip to town with the boys, needed new school trousers as the others (new ones only been on once) have a hole in the knee and I can't find my interfacing to mend then. New trainers as old ones have a hole, bigger than i thought and feet are just getting so wet now. I called quickly into boyes to get a couple of metres of lace, it's much cheaper than the craft shop.

Chris I love the comment about your whistle, pleased to hear your hubby replies to it

While not sure what to do now may go down shed for a couple of hours, if Ally doesn't want to do any of his puzzle.

Oh Max I'm sorry to hear about Brian and hope the little rest will do him good, It's such a shame as I'm sure he would love to just keep going.

i am not really sure what the friend requesty bit is for! i started doing some last night and then got super sleepy!!!!! hope brian rests up well and feels better for it hun.
well i have been very industrious and cleaned out the bottom of my wardrob, it was full of rubbish! now i m nibbling white choccy mice while tea is cooking!!!!

Well thats all from me for the next few weeks, I fly out tomorrow and I haven't started to pack as yet.
We leave at 12pm as were flying from Heathrow and hubby likes to get there early just incase there are any hold ups along the way.
I have been fiddling with my new phone and I have booked marked the site so i can pop in and see you whenever I can get hooked up to Wi-Fi network over in Aus. I'll send you some if it get to hot for me.
