Re: Daily Chit Chat
Hi to everyone, I hope you are all well and have a good Bank Holiday weekend, I shall be crafting as it is Cartmel Races here this weekend and there is so much traffic in the narrow lanes it is easier to stay in, well that is my excuse.
I see Dawn Bibby is joining C&C on Tuesday and wonder what she will be doing. Did anyone buy the new Expression? I was instructed to buy one for my Friend who is abroad on holiday and cannot wait for her to come back so that I can see how it works, I must be a good friend as I don't think I would trust somebody else buying an expensive machine like that for me!!!!!

Re: Daily Chit Chat
Hope everybody is well and enjoying crafting. Sorry I have been MIA but Amber was admitted to hospital for her side pain as an emergency on MOnday evening and i have been with her 16 hours aday til she came home yesterday and they still dont know what causes her pain but they have added new meds and so we try again. She missed an exam cause she was admitted so have had to argue with schools and examining boards on Ambers behalf - a long week!!
Re: Daily Chit Chat
So sorry to hear Amber is in pain again hope they sort her out soon.
The carts I ordered with my reward points arrived to day they only took 10 days from order to arrive and no duty on them the postage was only 12 dollars about £7
Now to play with them I got rock princess and summer in Paris

Hope Amber is feeling better Liz.
Typical Kat, looked everywhere for one of those scallop border punches a while back. Had to get a Fiskars in the end. Hope they all do well for you.

Hello all, I hope you are all well and enjoying this lovely weather.
Sandra, have you got your Imagine yet and if so do you like it.
I was very naughty in the end and treated myself to the Cricut Expression 2 as I managed to sell my Expression for a good price and love the new one it is so easy to use and also cuts much better.

Hi pam it arrived yesterday still getting my head around it and watching vidio on line
As usuall they do not give you much of a manual and the DVD they give with it is a wast of time it just show how to put the ink in and calibrate the cutting
I have been able to get into the new Cricut craft room so now my head is going round with trying to figure that out as well

Re: Daily Chit Chat
Sandra, my friend who has the Imagine has looked at lots of videos on YouTube and found them very helpful.
How did you manage to get into the Craft Room, I have tried and told that access was denied and try again later.

Re: Daily Chit Chat
Hello everybody! I'm using my phone to communicate, my computer is so slow. Hope everybody is ok
How is Amber doing, tried to catch up on some past posts, not read all updates yet?
Sandra, how are things in your neck of the woods?
On a horrible note, does anybody know how to humanely put a seagull out of it's misery? Last Sunday ian took me to Embsay crafts, on the way there we spottted a injured bird. We took it to the vets on Monday and they told us it has been shot. They gave it a pain killer and anti inflammatory, the bird is still alive but it's now an upside down bird, well it's head is. Not sure what is causing that but it likes watching top gear. We gave it a bath last night without it drowning, just to clean it up a bit - it is such a beautiful thing. Hate them when they are near me normally but this one is different, I couldn't see it suffer but I think it is now.

Re: Daily Chit Chat
I could never do it myself but I am advised (i'm from "the country" and had uncles that grew up around farms) that the most humane way to despatch a bird is a swiftly broken neck.
Re: Daily Chit Chat
Well I started a reply to you all apologising for being MIA but things tough here lots of pain for Amber and instructions to let her take her tabs or not as the mood takes her and to let her do riding, skating etc etc all the things she has avoided as they make her worse!! But then they are not up with her all night when she cannot get to sleep nor are they footing the bill for all the activiities or having their head bitten off cause she is in so much pain!!!!!!!!! She enjoys biting everybodies heads off as she is hurting so much and thinks it is an axcuse to be grumpy. So between umteen school trips a day and extra curricular and hospital visits I dont know whether it is Xmas Day or Shrove Tuesday!

Re: Daily Chit Chat
Hi Sandra and Liz how are you both
I am here watching daily but nothing seems to happen!!!!
Sandra, I have been watching the Imagine and perhaps it is a good thing I have no where to put one or else I might be tempted as my friend has one and she loves it. Unfortunately or fortunately I have got all the carts they are selling but now I have got the E2 perhaps I will have to look at the "I" carts!

Re: Daily Chit Chat
Morning ladies, nice to see some action on here again. I have been checking every now and then. My little seagull died last week, at least it had another week to it's life, can't believe anybody would shoot any birds. Anyway, what's everybody upto? Wow, new cartridges, I can't keep up any more with them. Any good cartridges recommended?
Off tomorrow for a few days with ian, can't wait, just us two. James is under threat for 'no parties' or else!!!!!
It's so warm today, wash day me thinks!
