Hi ladies. I have added a contribution link at the bottom of the page. Although the forum software is free and so is my time, there are things that need 'credits', the lack of adverts is an example. I paid myself for the removal of the adverts for a couple of months as it had been my idea to build the forum but in the long term I could do with a helping hand with the credits to keep away the adverts, if we want more Gallery space it will need buying on a monthly basis with the credits. So I thought if members were happy with what they are getting they could make an odd small donation and if we all chip in there isnt a burden on anybody but we can grow as we want and develop as we want. If the majority are not in agreement with this then please let me know and I will remove it.

I think its a very good idea and would lovr to contribute to its running. X

Oh Liz you can't be out of pocket doing this, you've given up so much time doing this forum. You must let us know how much things cost.

I will let you know what we have to pay it isn't fortunes. I think £4 bought me 500 credits and I used 400 credits to buy is 2 months (I think) advert free. I will check this and I am waiting for an answer regarding gallery space as soon as I have more info I will let you know.

Not got my query answered yet regarding gallery but these are the prices of credits etc:-

500 credits - £3.95
1000 credits - £7.90
2000 credits - £14.22
3000 credits - £20.54
4000 credits - £26.86
5000 credits - £33.18

Advert Removal we are covered to March 1st
1 month - 200 credits
2 months - 400 credits
3 months - 600 credits
6 months - 1000 credits
12 months - 2000 credits

Now regarding extra gallery space we currently have 20 Mb and we have used 62%, adding extra storage 'validity is one month' (not sure whether this means you loose eveything extra at the end of the month unless you pay again or you only loose the extra part not used! - this is what I am waiting for an answer on, as well as is there more optimal settings for me to set the photos etc at so we got more in the space!)
50Mb - 50 credits
100Mb - 100 credits
200Mb - 200 credits
300Mb - 300 credits
500Mb - 500 credits

Now when making contributions you choose between Paypal and some other company to do it by phone. You then choose currency so for us it is pounds sterling and press validate, then you can either choose one of their pre-set amounts and press validate or go down another line and you can enter any amount you wish, through PayPal it starts at £1.

What is the e-mail address to use with Paypal? I'm sorry I'm not seeing it. Obviously others found it since they've already donated, but I scanned the thread twice and am just not seeing it.

I am not sure you need an email you follow the steps in the contribution link and it is all done for you. If you are using PayPal you only need your own log-in details. The link is at the bottom of each page.

I am glad people are contributing!

I am definitely planning on doing the same - but I will probably be doing it after Feb 1st when I have more $$'s. Just let us all know when funds start getting low again so we know to donate. I certainly don't mind doing a small donation a few times a year.
