Post  Admin Sun Feb 06, 2011 12:51 pm

If you are all like me you like to experiment with new things and gain knowledge. So I have started this section with the idea of completing a page or two each month. I haven't thought yet how this should take shape and form and as usual I am open to all suggestions, so get those suggestions rolling in. Whether you prefer a layout sketch and/or a colour scheme and/or a theme and/or an event. Do you want a schedule for the year month by month? Let me know what you want.

I'm not a scrapbooker but I love sketches. Maybe the card makers could have a go at the sketches just for fun?

Sounds all good to me. I will perhaps send an email to everybody to get a general feel about scrapbooking as I am in the dark a bit and make sure nobody has missed the thread - in fact I will (being positive).

Hi Pam

This is what I do. Click the Host an Image button above the comment box. In the pop-up box, click browse and choose your photo. Click open. Click Host it. 3 lines of code will appear. Click Copy next to the middle line. Close the box by clicking Host an Image again. Paste the code into the comment box.

Thanks Kerry, they are my Grand-daughters and we were waiting for a train to go back into Sydney and they decided they were cold so put my coat on, the little girl in most of the pictures is only 4 and is full of mischief.

Hi Liz, I like getting the email. It reminds me to go on the site and see how others are coming along with their scrapbooks or sketches. The layout Pam put on is adorable. Thanks for having this forum. Elizabeth (Idaho)

Srapbooking Monthly Empty Monthly Scrapbook Page

Post  Laurie W Wed Feb 23, 2011 11:46 am

I love this idea. I like to work from sketches but also like having a theme. It would be good if we could know a few months in advance so we had time to plan. Will there be a time frame for posting?

This is something we are mulling over the exact set up of the scrapbooking section which is why I asked for everybody's opinions/suggestions can go in the melting pot.

Pam, I love the layout you have done, where did you get the ideas from? Is there a site that is better than others for layouts? Upto now I have only done two or three and two I put on my blog that I did at Embsay with Virginia at Click on Crafts. I must admit I do love scrapbooking but more to see what other people have done, I don't seem to have much idea with putting things together (story of my life), I am hopeless with colours.

How are things with you Pam, anything growing in the garden yet, our pots have a few tiny Pansies coming through but I think they want to stay in the soil nice and warm!

Oh Pam, don't mention potatoes, I still have the scars from last year, when I am cold and turn a heater on you can see the purple bluish tinge to my skin where I had that awful rash. This year I am going to buy an all in one Homer Simpson suit!
