Talking about ideas. I am wondering how people would feel about a kit of the month to buy. Would this be of interest to anybody - feedback please? It could be a set project with all the bits required to make it for sale or it could be more like the goody bag idea that craftwork cards do? Let me know all your thoughts pros and cons - your input helps my thought process! Otherwise it is just cogs crunching round and need a bit of oiling to run smoothly!

Sound's good to me,but just thinking of all the time it would take to do and set up, as i use to be in a bi monthly kit project group and it took my friend age's to get it running, lot's to think about and lot's of time to make it run smooth.xx dee

Hi Dee, love to hear any advice you have on the subject, it was just one of those flashes of inspiration. I could do with some guidelines, price acceptable etc. to be able to consider this line of thought further.

I think it's a lovely idea, but I agree it can be timing consuming. We run a button and swatch club where I work and believe me, the 1st month comes round very quickly. Coming up with the ideas, preparing all the items needed, creating instructions, packaging up, taking to the Post Office etc. Perhaps a quarterly club might be easier, but don't let me put you off. If you have the time then go for it.

Hi Kerry

Thanks for the info I am still mulling this idea over, obviously it would depend how many want to take part and also there would be a big difference between a kit for a specific project and a goody bag like craftwork cards does. I really need to know which would be most popular or whether indeed it would be better to alternate from one to the other. I know I am full of questions at the moment but I need the feedback to see what is viable and what isnt. Can you tell me a bit more about your button and swatch club, the only kit I have ever bought was one of Monique Griffith's so I might be a bit niave (is that how it is spelt? well near enough for you to know what I mean!) on the topic but I really want us all to get the most we possibly can out of this new forum, to my mind we are so behind what is freely available in the US. Maybe Fi can add something into the pot as she already runs a club?

I think it's a cute idea, but to be honest I'd probably never buy it.
