Embossing, drawing, & now engraving with the Cricut!

Sat Jan 08, 2011 1:47 pm by Amy Chomas

Hi girls! Liz invited me here and I'll be a coming up guest designer! I figured I would start a thread and if any of you have questions about embossing, drawing or engraving with the Cricut, you can ask me! I do have lots of ideas, videos, and some downloads on my blog... http://amychomas.blogspot.com/
And I noticed most of you are from the UK. I do ship outside the US! My products have travelled to more places then I ever will lol!
A little about me for those that don't know yet...
I've been scrappin for almost 13 years! Around a year and a half ago there was all this talk on the Cricut board about using mini gel pens in the Cricut with those squishy grips. Well my hubby is a computerized machinist and always has awesome ideas, so I asked him if he could make me something to go in the Cricut to hold gel pens, and he did! Well then I couldn't find the mini gel pens, so I asked around, and when girls found out my hubby was making me a holder, they asked if he could make them one as well! And what we thought was going to be 20 holders, has turned into thousands!
And then we ventured off into mini Sharpies, and micro Sharpies! And then embossing with the Cricut! And then we invested in 20 more colors of gel pens to sell in glitter and metallic. And our latest is the engraving tool for the Cricut which is becoming a quick favorite! Now I keep busy with designing with the goodies we sell! I love my job hehe!
I did just add a new clear cardstock card with a video to my blog as well, and you get to see my messy work area hehe... http://amychomas.blogspot.com/
So feel free to ask me anything you would like! Amy[img][/img]
